SUMADEK CD Displays Cover NAMM Show Floor
Even without a booth of their own, one of the best-received products at the recent NAMM show in Anaheim, CA was the SUMADEK Portable Listening Display for CDs. The SUMADEK system from Laurel Music was on display at several NAMM show booths, including Pignose, Remo,
Panasonic/Technics, Wood Violins and others.
The SUMADEK Portable Listening Display is a CD display stand and listening station. Powered by any standard size portable CD player, the SUMADEK holds five jewel-cased CDs, headphones and a 4x6 display area for
custom signs. Designed by independent musician/singer-songwriter Deirdre, the
system creates a simple, easily affordable portable listening station.
In the company's brief history, the SUMADEK system has already found
its way into Guitar Center stores around the country and has rapidly been adopted by major music industry manufacturers as the POP for use at trade shows, conventions and seminars. When asked for his opinion about the coolest product at the NAMM show, Chris Hart from Remo commented, "I'd have to say it was that CD thingy. That SUMADEK. That's very cool. A really good idea."
The SUMADEK Portable Listening Display has a suggested retail price of $29.99.
The SUMADEK is available at all Guitar Center stores and online at sumadek.com. For more information, contact Laurel Music, 1034 Pearl Street, Suite B, Santa Monica, CA 90405; 310.450.6311 (p), 310.450.4027 (f); deirdre@sumadek.com (e), or visit us online - www.sumadek.com.
